What Are Cookies

Crush Interviews (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product operated by Centractive LLC, a California limited liability company.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes including remembering your preferences, keeping you signed in, and helping us understand how you use the Service.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Crush Interviews uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

How We Use Cookies

Crush Interviews uses a minimal set of cookies focused on functionality and authentication. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling.

Analytics

We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool to understand how visitors use our marketing site — for example, which pages are viewed. It is first-party and does not set advertising cookies, build behavioral profiles, or track you across other websites.

When you first visit Crush Interviews, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics. The two categories are:

  • Essential. Required for the Service to work — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your privacy choices. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics. Optional. If you decline analytics, the analytics script is not loaded at all and no analytics data is collected.

Cookies We Do NOT Use

To be clear about what we don't do:

  • No advertising cookies. We don't display ads and don't use cookies to track you for advertising purposes.
  • No third-party tracking cookies. We don't embed Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar third-party tracking scripts that set cookies on your device.
  • No cross-site tracking. Our cookies are first-party only — they don't follow you across other websites.
  • No behavioral profiling. We don't build profiles of your browsing behavior for any purpose.

Third-Party Cookies

Some features of the Service embed tools provided by third parties — for example, our payment processor on billing and checkout pages, and a scheduling widget on our Contact page. When you use those features, these third parties may set their own cookies for purposes such as fraud detection, functionality, and analytics. Such cookies are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy, and we have no control over them.

Managing Cookies

When you first visit Crush Interviews, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or open a preferences panel to choose which categories to allow.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete specific cookies or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites or all sites
  • Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies

Please note that blocking essential cookies (specifically the access_token cookie) will prevent you from signing in to the Service.

For instructions on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit your browser's help documentation or allaboutcookies.org.

Do Not Track

Our Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. However, since we do not use tracking cookies or behavioral profiling, the practical effect is the same — we are not tracking you across sites regardless of your DNT setting.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
