1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Crush Interviews. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Crush Interviews software and services (the “Service”).

The Service is operated by Centractive LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as Crush Interviews (“Centractive LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization and represent that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Crush Interviews is an AI-powered interview preparation platform designed for mid-to-senior executives. The Service includes resume analysis and optimization, career story extraction and banking, company and interviewer research, AI-coached interview practice, and post-interview follow-up tools.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis, coaching, and content. AI-generated output is provided as a preparation aid and should be reviewed by you before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated content.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

The Service offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial, you have access to all Professional features subject to the usage limits described on our Pricing page.

After the trial period, continued use of write features (creating new preparations, running analyses, generating content) requires a paid Professional subscription at $99 per month. Read access to existing content remains available after trial expiry.

Subscriptions are billed monthly through our third-party payment processor. You may cancel at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.

5. Your Content and Data

You own your content. All resumes, answers, stories, notes, and other content you create or upload to the Service remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your content.

License to operate. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service — including sending it to third-party AI providers for processing. This license terminates when you delete your account.

No training use. Your content is never used to train any AI model. This applies to both our systems and our third-party AI providers, whose API terms prohibit training on customer data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Upload content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI prompts, models, or algorithms
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Use the Service to generate content for purposes unrelated to interview preparation (e.g., marketing copy, academic work, or content for other products)

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to generate resume analyses, interview answers, company research, coaching feedback, and email drafts. You acknowledge that:

• AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use
• AI-generated company research and interviewer profiles are based on publicly available information and may be incomplete or outdated
• Resume scores and coaching evaluations are advisory tools, not guarantees of interview outcomes
• We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job offers or specific compensation outcomes

8. Payment Terms

Professional subscriptions are billed at $99 per month. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers.

If payment fails, your account enters a past-due state. Write features are suspended during past-due periods. You retain read access to all existing content. We will attempt to collect payment for up to 30 days before suspending the account.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI prompts, question banks, coaching frameworks, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Crush Interviews. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as described.

The core question bank, culture framework coaching content, and evaluation rubrics are proprietary. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from this content.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crush Interviews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [STATE].
